How Green are House Shoes?

When designing House Shoe slippers it was important to me to take into account Green issues.
Having natural "waste not want not" tendencies it was easy for me to apply Green Design principles to the design of House Shoes.
Along with the materials used in making House Shoes I also considered the life of the product, I didn't want to create a throw away product, but something that has the quality to last.
Cotton is perfect as a lightweight durable material for such a product - many of us have our favourite sweater or T-shirt made from good quality cotton that we love to wear. House S hoes are the same, the longer you have them the softer the cotton becomes the more the association with comfort and House Shoes is made.
The soles of the shoes are an interesting Green story - I was able to source foam that is perfect for the lightweight soles (durable and washable). Designated as industrial waste we are able to divert it from the waste stream and make good use of it. Seriously know one would ever notice the difference.
