One Very Happy Customer

Its such a buzz when I get great feedback from Solz customers. So I was delighted when Deborah sent me this email in which she pretty much confirms that the idea and design behind Solz is working for customers. I don't need to say any more - Deborah says it all!

Hello Carmel,

My first purchase of Solz House Shoes was early last winter, via the website and I was ever so happy with my choice. The shoes are just so comfy, lightweight and cozy. I really feel the cold, but don't like my feet to over-heat ,so for me they are ideal.

I recently bought another pair for my daughter, living in Brisbane she is delighted with them as they suite the climate, aren't bulky and so easy to wear.

I personally wear my "house shoes" most of the time when I'm home, as I don't like to go barefoot, but with the thin but durable sole they can be worn outside.

I have and would again recommend these cuties to my friends and family, they are also idea to take away on holidays as they pack flat and are easily washed.

Sorry Carmel, I got a bit carried away with my feedback, more than just a few but your shoes are great and we love them, so please don't change any part of them.

Regards

Do you have some feedback about your Solz House Shoes? Perhaps pics of you in your Solz. I'd love to hear about it

My Shoe Rack

Some time ago I started the habit of kicking off my shoes at the door and putting on my house shoes now I can't imagine not doing it. So I thought I'd share my shoe rack with you. Yes I practice what I preach, plus its all part of my getting home and chilling out routine. It all begins with getting my Solz on.

Shoes Off #1 Defence against Toxins in Your Home

The Number #1 tip for keeping toxins out of your house as suggested by Today's Housewife Blog.
#1 Rugs at each door and shoes off inside. We can track in lots of chemicals on the bottom of our shoes. In winter it's snow melting salt, as the weather gets warmer it's fertilizers and weed killing chemicals. We have rugs outside and inside our doors so we can wipe our feet. We also take our shoes off when we're home. Important if you or a family member are susceptible to allergy.

Take Your Solz to Work

I know I wear my Solz on the job and now know I'm not the only one. Once you start kicking off your shoes and slipping on your Solz it's hard to think of life without them. I get comfortable and can then get started on my "to do" list. So it seems does Lauren who sent me this pic of her at her work ( her boots shoved under her desk). Nice feet by the way Lauren. She tells me that she is a convert to Solz as many of her "work shoes" get uncomfortable if worn all day, wearing Solz while in the office keeps her feet happy.

Answering Some Questions About the Soles

I have had a few requests lately asking for more information on the Soles of the House Shoes.

I know its hard to tell from the pics on the site so here is a picture of the bottom of the Shoes to give you a better idea.

The sole is made from a 5mm foam recycled rubber - it's soft but durable - perfect for indoor surfaces.

It also has the benefit of being non-slip so you don't need to worry about skidding over shiny floorboards or tiles.

I hope this helps

Some Advice for Travelling Comfort

Our feet bear tremendous pressure while travelling. We are on our feet for longer duration, and walk more than usual during a trip. Most of us are familiar with swollen feet while on long plane trips. Be a smart traveller and get yourself some travel slippers that will provide the much needed comfort to your feet.
You can leave your home wearing your high-heeled stilettos or ankle-length boots, but slip in to a pair of comfortable
Solz slippers when you are seated inside your car or in flight. You will instantly feel relaxed and comfortable. Lightweight they are perfect for carry on luggage.

Solz can also be used once you get to your destination, They are perfect for wearing while relaxing in your hotel and are a great anecdote to tied worn out feet - sightseeing is great but takes its toll. When designing Solz the special needs and requirements of travellers were kept in mind, I know how important small comforts are when on the road. Solz though, soft and comfortable to wear, are also durable and strong in nature. You can wear them without worrying about any quality issues.
Slippers are also great when you are sharing a confined space with others - like the bathrooms of airplanes. Ive never been a fan of wearing stepping inside one of those without barrier between me and the floor. Putting my shoes back on to what may have become swollen feet is not fun - this is where Solz come to the rescue. Slip them on as soon as you get onboard and you are set for the trip.
Happy travels
